How to take care of my bag?

At Ann Kurz, we specialize in creating high-quality handbags, designed to accompany you through your day with style and functionality.

The quality of our products ensures their durability, but to extend their lifespan and keep them in perfect condition, it's important to care for them properly.

Here are some cleaning and maintenance tips for different types of leather:

For suede avoid contact with water, oils, and harsh chemicals, as these can stain or damage the material. To clean, use a soft brush or a suede eraser to remove dirt or marks. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its texture and color.

For nappa clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use acidic soaps, alcohol, perfume, or hand sanitizers, as these can be corrosive and cause surface damage. Keep away from excessive humidity and direct sunlight to preserve its finish.

And for textil, we recommend careful hand washing using mild soap and cold water. Avoid acidic soaps, harsh detergents, or machine washing, as these can weaken the fabric and affect its color. Let it air dry in the shade.

To extend the lifespan of your bag, store it in the protective dust bag provided at purchase.

Our family

As you probably know, our brand has been around since 2015. We started out small and have grown steadily since. Thanks to you, ann kurz has developed from a side project to something very special. We can no longer imagine a life without our creations and are incredibly grateful to you for your support.

Our friends

We not only have a great family at the factory that makes your bags. We also have great friends, local suppliers around our factory. They are the people who provide us with everything we need for our variety of leather bags.

The cowhide - which is tanned in an environmentally conscious way and which we are constantly developing to further reduce the impact on nature. This results for example in accessoires like the Mika Vegetable Tanned Leather Wallet, and many more.

The inner lining - on the one hand made of 48% recycled cotton and 20% recycled polyester (e.g. for our Nandi shoulder bag) or the beautiful beige inner lining made of ecotextile (e.g. for our Nuria suede shopper bag) which is very resistant, anti-bacterial and eco-friendly which fulfills the REACH standard.

What is the return policy?

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn’t the case, let us know and we’ll do our best to work with you to make it right.

Shipping, Return and Refund

Delivery times and shipping rates

Timeless Pieces S.L. (www.annkurz.com & www.annkurz.de) sends orders within Europe with different logistic companies, such as DHL, FEDEX, UPS, etc. Once your product is dispatched you will receive a notification and tracking number. We currently serve the European Union, the UK and Switzerland.

  • European orders will be delivered within 24 to 72 business hours
  • Shipping within the European Union is at 7.99€.
  • Shipping rates for non-EU countries such as the UK, Switzerland and Norway are at 11.99€ PLUS import taxes (to be determined by customs). We also do not cover customs handling fees for the UK.

Please, understand that we will have to charge you for the second shipment in case your shipping parcel auto-returned to our warehouse and you would like to have it sent out another time (because of your absence or you failed to pick it up from the pick-up store in time).

Exchange, returns and refunds

1. What is the process to initiate a return or refund?

If the bag you ordered does not match your idea and you want to send it back, you must first contact us within the first 15 days to service@annkurz.com or use our return form. Please make sure to contact us before returning, as the return address may be different.

2. Conditions that apply

If your purchase is not what you expected, you have up to 30 calendar days to return your order, starting from the day you or an authorized recipient receives it.

To make a return, the product must be in perfect condition, preferably in its original packaging with everything originally included. For hygiene reasons, returns of scrunchies will not be accepted.

Return costs are €7.99 for the European Union. For the rest of Europe, including Switzerland, Norway, and the UK, customers are responsible for return costs.

We only take responsibility for returns and repairs of bags and accessories purchased directly from our website.

Orders with discounts or promotions will not be refunded; instead, a store voucher will be issued for that amount.

3. Can I have a gift exchanged or refunded?

Unfortunately, we can only accept goods that have been purchased on our Website. The exchange shall only be carried out for an equivalent or more favorable value. The refund will be charged back to the original buyer in the method of payment used.

4. Do I have to pay for shipping my return/exchange?

We only take responsibility for returns and repairs of bags and accessories purchased directly from our website.

If you notice any defects in your item, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible.

Important: Please note, when making a return from countries outside of the EU (Switzerland, Norway, the UK) - shipping costs will not be covered by us. Expenses need to be handled by the client.

Guarantee

1. What are our warranty terms?

We offer a 3 to 6-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. This includes issues such as loose stitching, faulty zippers, or material defects not caused by misuse. Please note that our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, stains, or damage caused by improper use or lack of care.

Are any purchases final sale?

We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.
When will I get my order?

We work hard to get your order to you as quickly as possible, this
will take us around 1 to 3 working days. After that, orders usually take
another 1 to 3 working days to arrive once they leave our warehouse.

Shipping
costs within the European Union are €7.99, and for the rest of Europe,
including Switzerland, Norway, and the UK, shipping costs €11.99 plus
import taxes, which are determined by customs.

Where are your products manufactured?

Ann Kurz bags are exclusively made in Spain, particularly in
Elche/Alicante. Each product is meticulously crafted in our factory. By
partnering with local suppliers and producing within the EU, we
guarantee fair working conditions and short transportation distances,
effectively reducing CO2 emissions. For additional details, check out
